One guy, one van, decades of know-how. Bob's done small repairs and built whole houses from the ground up — no crew, no middleman, no runaround.
He won't take on work he isn't the right man for. If it needs a licensed electrician or a plumber, or it's outside what he does, he'll tell you straight — and he almost always knows the right person to call.
The work he takes on
From one room to an entire rebuild — Bob's done both, start to finish.
Replacement, repair, and everything that needs to open, close, and seal right.
Built, rebuilt, or repaired — framing and finish work done to last.
The stuff that's been "on the list" too long — drywall, trim, doors, and hardware.
Bob's spent his whole working life fixing, building, and repairing homes around Louisville — no office, no sales team, just him and his van. He's built entire houses from the foundation up, so a leaky window or a wobbly deck isn't a stretch. It's the easy stuff.
Most of his work is smaller residential jobs — the repairs and projects other companies don't want to bother with, or price too high to make sense. Bob prices it fair, does it right, and moves on to the next one.
Covers getting to you, getting set up, and the first hour of work.
Straight hourly. Materials are billed at cost on top.
A full 8-hour day on site. Past 8 hours, it goes back to $65/hr.
There's no trip fee on top of this. The $150 minimum only shows up when the job is small — if the work adds up to more than $150, that's simply what you pay. No surprises, no separate charge for showing up.
Bigger project — a deck, a bathroom, anything running more than a day? That's not an hourly job. Bob comes out, looks it over, and gives you a written price for the whole thing. The estimate is free, anywhere in his service area.
It isn't just an hour of labor. Already in the number:
Call or text — plain language is fine, you don't need to know what the part is called.
Bob prices every job in person, on site — not off a description or a photo.
That's how he gives you a number he can actually stand behind. Before anything starts, you know exactly what it costs.
A day and a window, then the work — and he cleans up after himself.
Bob's one guy, and he's not going to guess at a price from a description — a "quick fix" can turn out to be something else once you're actually looking at it, and nobody wants a surprise number.
Coming out to look is part of the visit, not an extra trip. That's what makes the price he gives you one you can count on.
What Bob doesn't do: electrical panel work, HVAC, plumbing that requires a licensed plumber, or roofing. If that's what you need, he'll usually know someone who does.
Fastest way to reach Bob is the phone — call or text and he'll get right back to you.
